Important dining note

Food planning needs care. One guest contacted the property weeks ahead to explain that their wife had coeliac disease and received an email saying the restaurant could accommodate her. On arrival, the restaurant was serving a set course menu and could not make the required changes at short notice. Staff were described as apologetic, but the meal remained disappointing.

Guests with coeliac disease, serious allergies or other dietary requirements should ask for a precise written explanation of what the set menu contains and what alternatives can actually be prepared. That is the clearest weakness in the public feedback.
